This Honey Garlic Sausage & Veggie Sheet Pan is an easy weeknight dinner made with smoked sausage, roasted potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, and a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Everything cooks on one pan, which means less cleanup and a super simple dinner the whole family can enjoy.
I love meals like this because they feel complete without needing a bunch of extra sides. You get your protein, potatoes, and vegetables all in one dish, and the honey garlic glaze gives everything so much flavor without needing a long ingredient list.
It’s also a great budget-friendly dinner because smoked sausage is usually inexpensive, potatoes help stretch the meal, and you can easily swap in whatever vegetables you already have on hand.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- One-pan dinner: Everything cooks on one sheet pan for easy cleanup.
- Budget-friendly: Smoked sausage and potatoes help keep the cost down.
- Family-friendly: The sweet and savory honey garlic sauce makes the vegetables and sausage extra flavorful.
- Easy to customize: Use whatever vegetables you already have in the fridge.
- Perfect for busy nights: Most of the work is just chopping and tossing everything together.
Ingredients
- 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
- 1½ lbs baby potatoes, quartered
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Add the quartered potatoes to the sheet pan. Toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Roast the potatoes for 15 minutes to give them a head start.
- While the potatoes roast, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon olive oil, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Remove the sheet pan from the oven and add the sliced sausage, broccoli, and bell pepper.
- Drizzle everything with about ⅔ of the honey garlic sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread everything into an even layer and return the pan to the oven.
- Roast for another 15–20 minutes, tossing once halfway through, until the potatoes are fork-tender and the vegetables are roasted.
- During the last 3–5 minutes, drizzle or brush the remaining honey garlic sauce over the sausage and vegetables.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Tips for the Best Sheet Pan Dinner
Give the potatoes a head start. Potatoes take longer to cook than broccoli and bell peppers, so roasting them first helps everything finish at the same time.
Don’t overcrowd the pan. If everything is packed too tightly, the vegetables will steam instead of roast. Use a large sheet pan and spread everything out as much as possible.
Cut everything evenly. Keeping the potatoes and vegetables similar in size helps them cook more evenly.
Save some sauce for the end. Adding the last bit of honey garlic sauce near the end gives the sausage and vegetables a glossy, flavorful coating.
Can I Use Different Vegetables?
Absolutely. This recipe is really easy to customize depending on what you have on hand.
You could try:
- Green beans
- Zucchini
- Carrots
- Cauliflower
- Red onion
- Brussels sprouts
Just keep in mind that some vegetables cook faster than others, so add softer vegetables later if needed.
What Kind of Sausage Works Best?
Smoked sausage works really well because it’s already cooked and only needs to heat through and brown in the oven.
You can use:
- Beef smoked sausage
- Turkey smoked sausage
- Chicken sausage
- Kielbasa
Use whichever one fits your budget and your family’s preferences.
What to Serve With Honey Garlic Sausage & Veggies
This meal is filling enough on its own, but if you want to stretch it even further, you can serve it with:
- Rice
- Dinner rolls
- A simple side salad
- Fresh fruit
How to Store Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm everything on a sheet pan in the oven until heated through.
